In honor of it almost being July, with the 4th on the way, I thought this was a good themed post. This was such a fun concept to do. Of course focusing on the giant American flag. In terms of actually acquiring one proved to be a challenge all on it's own... There aren't many places that sell them for a cheap price, so amazon seemed to be the way to go. I had a friend use her Prime account for me since I thought finding a flag in Boston would be easy enough, without any luck it was getting down to the wire for timing!
The most difficult part about posing with the flag was controlling it's movement; it's made of a very slippery nylon sort of material vs a cloth fabric. Kinda like a super thin tarp. It was sliding off my hair and silk blouse every two seconds. Another difficult part was trying to not be overtaken by the flag. It was an overwhelming prop, one that was taller than I was, it was important to work with it vs against it. Overall it was a great morning and we couldn't have asked for better weather!

*All in Boston, Massachusetts.
